65 Rambler

1965 4 Door Rambler

In 1972 I was driving my mothers 1969 Pontiac down a side street in Kalispell Montana where I was struck broadside by a VW Beetle. Both cars were totaled and since there were no stop signs and I was on the left I was given the ticket.

BTW: This is not pictures of my car but the one I had was just as nice!!

My mother was in a panic and until the insurance paid she could not purchase another car. A discussion with my Aunt Ruby Lansing lead to the purchase of my late Uncle Claude Lansing’s gold rambler car. His pride and joy. The Rambler was purchased for some small amount like $325 and Aunt Ruby let mom make payments.

After the insurance settled and my mother bought a new Pontiac. I was then told that the Rambler was mine to drive. The Rambler was in excellent condition but I was a young teen and thought I needed a car that was more sporty. This Rambler was mine to drive till I purchased my 1967 Camaro. After I bought my Camaro the Rambler sat in the yard and was not driven. After many month of not being used it was sold.
