My fist car was a 1955 Chevy 2 door hard top with a 283 and a 3 speed non synchro 1st gear with the shifter on the steering wheel. Bought the car before I had a drivers license for $125. The car was orange and white with a red interior. It appeared almost like the car in the picture. My 55 Chevy had a damaged right rear quarter panel.(Moderate damage and only noticeable up close) Mike Kao had a 57 Chevy 2 door hard top and he wanted a 55 Chevy 2 door hard top so we traded cars.
