1989 Oldsmobile Delta 88
My worst experience ever. What a beautiful car. Paid $2000 for a used Olds Delta 88 2door and after driving for a few hundred miles the seat belt interlock would not allow for the drivers door to be opened. When we took it to the shop for repair it would work fine and then the next day it would not open. First week we put $500 in new tires on the car. Third week wife drove it to Salt Lake and on the way the crank sensor failed and $500 dollars later back on the road. The forth week the fuel pump went out and $500 later we were back on the road. The sixth week the crank sensor went out again and $500 later back on the road. Less than a week the crank sensor failed and this time I was able to get the mechanic to warrantee the work without a charge. Well I purchased the car for $2000 and in 6 weeks put another $2000 for a total of $4000. At seven weeks put it up for sale and got $1800. We were lucky as the door worked when the new owners drove it away. The door had not worked the day before.
